For Etsy find #8, I stumbled upon Donda Lee’s shop. I was excited to see a vintage feel to her accessories. She sells the prettiest rings, bracelets, and necklaces. She also has a cute range of stationary. And best of all, she packages her items with care. I give extra props to etsy shop owners who actually use one of their photos to feature how one should expect to receive it in the mail.
This Paris charm bracelet stuck out to me. I don’t normally wear bracelets, but this one is cute, with the colors and parisian charms.
II absolutely love this ring. The color combination is perfect w/ the pastel green band and the earthy tones of the flowers. I love that it’s set in the gold backing as well. I just love everything about this ring!
As you can tell from my packages, I tend to enjoy using keys to add an extra pop of life to a gift. I have an affinity for old/vintage keys look in general, so naturally, I would be gravitated toward this necklace.
Donda Lee has such pretty accessories and stationaries! The vintage look is so pretty and if anyone has any recommendations for similar accessory shops, please comment to let me know.
Today, I am posting about a recent purchase I made on Etsy from Bellamela’s shop. Since I just recently purchased a macbook pro, I needed a nice laptop sleeve. Searched through Etsy, and found the cutest sleeves ever! Check it out here. Although, she is on vacation right now, so you will need to wait to see the products… But here is a sneak peak of the laptop case. It’s so cute and I love the way it fits so perfectly on my laptop. Price is excellent too! Only 19.99!
They just recently opened a store called Typo at Stonestown in San Francisco. Given my natural draw to stationary and office supplies, I was excited to see this store. They have such cute notebooks, journals, office supplies, washi tapes, stamps, and stationaries. I believe they are an Australian brand associated with another clothing store I like, called Cotton-On. I am very appealed to the aesthetics of this store and wanted to buy everything! Unfortunately, the stuff is on the pricier side. A girl can still dream though! Here’s a few items in the store I was drawn to:
Yes, this is definitely my store — They have a Bunny Kit!!! Now, what is a bunny kit??? I have no idea. It was so cute though! Look at my ecstatic expression. I am a sucker for anything that has cute bunny and/or is bunny themed.
Artsy prints + disposable cameras. Enjoyed the photographic, colorful prints on canvas. The canvas gives it an artsy feel in spite of its mass production. Love it!
Just a snippet of the many notebook and journal designs. I would totally buy these if I was still in school. Otherwise, I have no use for them really.
I am happy they opened this store at Stonestown. I will make sure to pay a visit every time I make my way to that mall. The mall now has two must go-to stops: Yesstyle + Typo ❤
Went to the Japantown Cherry Blossom Festival this weekend. It was bustling with many people. Had my favorite food stand go to’s – ichigawa yaki & fried mocha. Yum! Then we went walking through the crowds and into my favorite stores.
Maido Finds. First is decorative tape. They had a nice selection. I am a fan of the plaid and panda tapes.
And of course, rilakkuma products. This is the one reason I’d want an iPhone – otherwise I’ll stick with android. Must find a rilakkuma case for android phones!!
Rilakkuma paper clip holders.
yummy festival foods
My favorite store: Maido
Cute things in Maido
Must have this pencil case!
Vendor that had cute products for sale. Check them out.
Great day at the cherry blossom festival. There are no cherry blossom pictures though because the cherry blossom trees were wilting. Spring came too fast
So as you can see, I am catching up on my posts. This should have been posted in July of 2011. When I went to LA, I had this mission of finding all the stores where they sold cute things. I would type kawaii or cute store or tokyo stores into my yelp app on my phone to try and see where to shop. To my luck, I found quite a few stores that fit what I was looking for. Here is a haul of stuff I bought when I was in LA. Most of these items were purchased from a store called “Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle” http://www.tokyojlsusa.com/#/home/ I was so excited to find this store because we didn’t have this in the bay area at the time. Shortly after, I found out they opened a branch at Valley Fair in San Jose! Love the store… and here are some items I purchased:
Featured in the photo: Tea set, three mechanical pencils/pen, lead pencil holder, stamp that says good job w/ a cute bunny on it, mamegoma notebook, and Domo Kun planner.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted, and now that I’m on spring break and have the actual time to invest in this a little bit, I feel motivated to try again. Especially now that I’ve figured out a cute header to put on this blog… For a while I couldn’t figure out what to do about that and it was making me unmotivated to post. I’ve also been unclear about my focus and purpose with this blog.. but more and more I am finding that it will be about my cute & yummy finds, and crafting endeavors. So disregard the random old posts from before and look forward to my posts going forward!
So in honor of my first post back, I have posted a photo of my desk and what’s on it. My desk is where I craft. It’s where I write lesson plans. And it’s where I spend hours on pinterest and sifting through blogs. I just recently got this really cute mug from Daiso. I don’t know about you, but I find that having tea in a cute mug somehow makes the day a little bit brighter.
